ENTERTAINERS

Among the many and varied entertainers appearing at the Welshpool Street Scene Festival on Saturday 30th June 2012 will be:-

PADDY THE FROG: A cute and cuddly costumed character that appeals to children of all ages.

SIMON AIREY - THE ANIMAL MAN:
Exotic Reptiles, Spiders and much more! Come and listen to the stories, handle the various creatures or just watch with amazement as others allow the reptiles and spiders to crawl on them

THE HAIRY CHAIRS: As a Child did you imagine daring adventures in far flung lands with magical companions and magnificent steeds? Freya and Gumpf will be exploring Welshpool and its inhabitants in this spirit of adventure, aboard their incredible walking armchairs- part beast part household furniture.

MUSICAL RUTH: Zany piano-playing musical nun. A mix and mingle comedy act, an extravagantly decorated baby grand piano built onto an electrically powered vehicle. This is driven around by Sister Ruth, a madcap nun who can stop and entertain any group of people using comedy patter, hilarious dance moves, facial contortions, sound effects and unusual renditions of all your favourite songs.

Past clients include Nokia, Guinness, Warwick Castle, Brighton Festival and many others.

Visually stunning, funny enough to bring tears and once witnessed never forgotten!
