CHILDREN'S CRAFTS: A number of children's craft workshops will be held during the day at the Powysland Museum.
AFRICAN DRUMMING: 'Come along and join Richard Zimbler for an African drumming workshop, learn some basic beats and rythems and join him for a performance at 1.30pm. All ages and abiltiies welcome! ' At Powysland Museum Canal yard.

GUIDED WALK: The next walk will take place on Saturday 30 June and will start from Coed-y-Dinas Garden Centre at 1030.
We will walk on the canal path into Welshpool and stop at the Powisland Museum for about an hour to marvel at their displays of household, farming and vetinerary implements from the past, before moving on to the grounds of Powys Castle where we will stop for our lunch. We will then cross open farmland to descend to the locks at Belan and make a short stop at the MWT reserve before returning to our cars. The cafe at Coed-y-Dinas will be open before and of course after our walk. Dress appropriately for the weather forecast and bring binoculars and lunch. Children and dogs are welcome.
